The Benilde-St. Margaret's Girls Basketball team have a new trophy to add to their case as they took home the Class 3A Girls Basketball State Championship on Saturday. They defeated the DeLaSalle Islanders 81-58 to secure back-to-back state championships, their program's fourth overall.

Olivia Olson led the team with 30 points and Pressley Watkins contributed 16 points to the score as well. The team finished the season with a 27-5 record with their most recent loss taking place on December 22nd against the Islanders.

The following players were named to the Class AAA All-Tournament Team [L to R in white jerseys, back row of the photo below]: Olivia Olson, Pressley Watkins, Zahara Bishop, and Kate Kapsner.

Several players also earned Metro West All-Conference honors, including Zahara Bishop, Sydney Friedly, Kate Kapsner, Olivia Olson, and Pressley Watkins.
