Primary care for orthopedic pain & injuries

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Not your average PT.

The doctor of the future is: IN

In 1903, Thomas Edison said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”

The future is now.

A doctor of physical therapy is the primary care provider for orthopedic pain and injuries. Seeing a PT first saves you time and money, AND you’ll get better faster too.

People Are Saying

“After back surgery, I thought I may never be able to regain my form as a golfer, and after working with Inspired Athletx for less than 2 months, I won a tournament!  I feel like I move better, I can create more speed, and I have the confidence that I won’t get hurt while playing.”

— JEFF S.

“I had a wonderful experience here. I had been having extreme hip pain for months and had tried chiropractic and massage and stretching with no relief. I called, they were super helpful, and were able to get me in right away. I was amazed at how quickly I felt better.”

Q&A

  • Yes!  Absolutely.  You do not have to officially be an “athlete” to get great quality treatment and to rehab like one!  Many of our clients are not competitive athletes and love the results they get from our personalized and thorough approach to physical therapy care.

  • No.  Minnesota is a “direct-access” state, meaning it is not required for you to have a referral from a physician to recieve treatment.  The sooner you get to your physical therapist, the sooner you get treatment, the sooner you get better!  We diagnose pain and injuries and provide treatment on the same day.

  • Yes – we love being your second opinion and frequently see the “complex” cases, resulting from pain or injury, that seem difficult to solve – do NOT give up.  We enjoy the opportunity to help you finally see results!

  • We do not directly contract with any health insurance carriers.  Read our blog post: Why We’re Out-of-Network, On Purpose for all the reasons why.  Upon request, we can provide statements, which include treatment codes and information that may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement directly to you.  Due to the variety of insurance plans and coverage, we encourage you to contact your insurance company to verify your “out-of-network” physical therapy benefits to get a better understanding of what you could expect you insurance company to cover.

  • We do not directly contract with any health insurance carriers.  Why?  The answer to that question is a long one – if you’d like to know more about why we do not contract with insurance and why that benefits you, please visit our blog post: Why We’re Out-of-Network, On Purpose.

  • New patients should plan to wear athletic clothing that allows for access to any painful or injured areas. For example, a tank top would be preferred for women with a shoulder issue. Wear shorts if you have a knee issue. You get the idea. Also, wear or bring athletic shoes.
