Back on March 16th, gymnast Miikka Hughes competed in the 2024 Minnesota Optional & Excel State Championship putting up a season best all-around performance scoring 33.800 overall score. She had her best performances of the year in vault (8.950) and bars (8.859) which helped her qualify for Midwest Regions. 

Miikka finished up her first year in Level 9 at Regions this past weekend. She competed in vault and bars, scoring a 8.950 and 7.800 respectively in them.
