Joey Lombard named MVC Conference Lineman of the Week

The win secured the Coyotes first ever share of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) title, in a tie with NDSU and South Dakota State, and also landed them a first round bye for the FCS playoffs that begin this weekend. But that wasn't all for the senior offensive lineman. On Monday, the MVC announced Lombard as the conference offensive lineman of the week.
The senior, a 2025 NFL prospect and Anoka, MN native, also had an interview with NFL Draft Diamonds last week. A recording of the interview is available on YouTube.
With a first round bye, the Coyotes will see their next action on Saturday, December 7 at home vs. the winner of this weekend's matchup between Drake (IA) and 13 seed Tarleton State (TX). The game will be televised on ESPN+ and airs at 2pm CST.
